This product is based on one of the basic pillars of cosmetic chemistry, more specifically with oleochemistry, the science that studies the properties of oils. Oils can be classified by their chemical structure, origin and also by their polarity, which means, the number and type of electrical charges they possess.
Numerous studies have shown that vegetable oils free of electric charges, called non polar or with low polarity have a high affinity with the skin and are capable of solubilising the most stubborn impurities.
Clementine Cleansing Balm is inspired by this principle of the chemistry of oils and therefore respects the natural balance of the skin and reduces the Transepidermic Water Loss (TEWL) due to the delicate power of this detoxifying balm. The light and fresh aroma of clementine is a nod from its creator, Dr. Pedro Catalá to his land and his town, Ondara (Spain), known for the extensive crops of these citrus fruits.
Ingredients
Olus (Vegetable) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Peel Oil, Bisabolol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopherol.
Directions
Apply to dry skin starting at your neck, working up to your face and finishing with your eyes. To remove, damp a cleansing cloth with lukewarm water and sweep off from your skin over closed eyes.
